Sources are in

    /etc/mail/aliases

which is compiled into=20

    /etc/mail/aliases.db

for sendmail to read.

There's a symbolic link:

    /etc/aliases -> /etc/mail/aliases

but that's there for backwards compatibility.  Any new software should
use /etc/mail/aliases by default.
