I have no idea what it is doing inside SMI. _SB.PCI0.VID.LCD0._BCM stores brightness in BRLV and calls _SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.BRNS() and UCMS(0x16). UCMS() calls SMI directly so I have no idea what it is doing. If _SB.PCI0.VID.DRDY is true, it calls _SB.PCI0.VID.AINT(). AINT() triggers an ASLE interrupt to set the brightness through the driver. I'm not sure what went wrong here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
