I am running FreeBSD 4.2 release and trying to get my internal US Robotics modem to work. I see it in the dmesg recognized, and think I almost have tip configured correctly based on the generic entry in the handbook for dialing from the command line. Do I need to create a device node to use my modem, and if so, how would I figure out what device node I need to MAKEDEV? thank you in advance banksw@sunyit.edu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
