Would it be possible to get more information about your system configuration?
I tested this on two clean installations of FreeBSD 6.2 and 7.0rc using
Vmware and it compiles without a hitch. I'm surprised that it was the PCRE
libraries that failed. It is usually Globus or Kerberos that causes problems.

When you execute 'make', could you email me the output of the following file:

/usr/ports/sysutils/condor/work/condor_src-7.0.0/externals/build/log.pcre-5.0

I have also attached a clean tarball of the port, in case the patch is not
applying cleanly.
