The mysql-connector-java50 port has, I believe, outlived its usefulness.
It requires what is now a fairly elderly version of java to run, and the
current version is available as databases/mysql-connector-java which has
many bug fixes and feature enhancements.
Mark the port as deprecated, and set an expiry date 2 months from now.
