The dd program completed but the raid info is still on the disk, That's because RAID metadata is stored outside RAID itself (/dev/raid/r0), it occupies last sectors of physical disks. It can be erased with "graid delete" command, please read man graid. You need operate on its "Geom name" from "graid list | fgrep Geom" command, not on symbolic name /dev/raid/r0. You may also need -f flag (again, read man graid). Eugene Grosbein
