 You failed to describe your environment, which is critical to this
 problem.
 
 In which disk you installed FreeBSD? First IDE? Second IDE? First
 SCSI?
 
 Here are a few possibilities: da0, da1, wd0, wd1, wd2.
 
 Identify the one you installed FreeBSD into. If you cannot, describe
 your configuration in _details_.
 
 Once you figured out which, notice the unit number. That is the
 number after the letters. For instance, the unit number for da0 is
 0.
 
 Then, at the beginning of the bootstrap process, when a countdown
 message is displayed, during which you can type any key to
 interrupt, type any key. Then enter:
 
 set root_disk_unit=N
 boot
 
 where N is the unit number of the disk you installed FreeBSD into.
