Hello. Im new to freebsd. when installing neomail, webmail program, it says CGI.pm was too old i enden up using perl -e shell -MCPAN (im new to this too..) it asks a few question did some things and ok. then i realize that perl5.6.1 binary was in the system ~$ perl -v This is perl, version 5.005_03 built for i386-freebsd $ perl5.6.1 -v This is perl, v5.6.1 built for i386-freebsd ok. i got 2 perl's here. i wana get rid of the old one. pkg_info doesnt report any perl is installed.. (well just p5-DBI) ... how would i saftly remove perl 5.0005 out of the system? i guess perl installs things around.. i wana make a 'clean' uninstall.. after uninstalling, i gues i can just do ln -s /usr/local/bin/perl5.6. /usr/bin/perl? thanks! -- ---------------- Phillip Neumann phillip@chile.com ---------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
