I've been working on the GNOME 2.1 port, and am mostly done. I am
working out of my own CVS repo at
http://www.marcuscom.com:8080/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi. All of the work is
under the ports module.

I have been able to run some of the new GNOME apps, and things look
pretty nice. The new pango is sweet. One of the highlights so far is a
WM switcher capplet. If you're interested in helping out, or want to
test things out yourself, you can checkout the ports using:

cvs
-d:pserver:anonymous@creme-brulee.marcuscom.com:/space/cvs/marcuscom-cvs
login

Then,

cvs -z3
-d:pserver:anonymous@creme-brulee.marcuscom.com:/space/cvs/marcuscom-cvs
co ports

Joe
