If you have exact description of snd_hda driver flaws - drop me a letter in Russian, I will help with translation 2. Note snd_ part in driver name: If you see better way to use this driver - let me know, I'll translate 3. Do you know any HW able to use HDA (High Definition Audio) to be connected? Isn't it sound-related devices only? What devices are really practically interesting? I mean, soft modems does not fall under "interesting devices" category for the absolute majority of users/developers. Are there any other interesting devices that could be connected to the bus (is it a bus, actually?)? PS. Even better idea: let's stop bugging this list until we have good questions to ask here and move our discussion to UAFUG list (http://uafug.org.ua). 2008/7/22 Alex Keda : > I can is too sharp, but of problems will not get rid silence or excuses. > Today, on the HDA bus works sound, modem. > Tomorrow hardware producers will connect to it that something really needed. > =========== > If it is made incorrectly - it is necessary to not care, cherish and be > proud made.
