I had a few problems along the way when portupgrade failed to download one of the required tarballs and left my system in an inconsistent state. I've worked through the issues and finally got the upgrade completed but receive this error (in a window) when starting gnome: Desk Guide Alert GNOME Desktop Guide (Pager) You are not running a GNOME Compliant Window Manager. GNOME support by the window manager is strongly recommended for proper Desk Guide Operation. I'm using Sawfish that installs with the gnome port. I've used pkg_deinstall to remove sawfish-gnome and then rebuilt it from ports using portinstall. Same error. Any ideas how to fix this short of rebuiling gnome in its entirety?
