in configuring mutt, using the 'default' color allows for transparent
consoles. someone on the mutt mailing list told me that freebsd doesn't
keep certain libraries (ncurses, slang?) in the right place and this breaks
configure. he said i have to set $CFLAGS and $LIB to fix the problem. is
this the best fix? if it is, i don't quite understand what i am supposed to
do.
