I used to be able to type this at a commandline

smbclient -L culverk (which is my machine, and it used to work fine)

from the commandline of the machine culverk and get a listing

now nothing happens, and I get this error from the kernel:

arplookup 127.0.0.1 failed: could not allocate llinfo
arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 127.0.0.1rt

Thanks...

Kenneth Culver
