hello,

i built a new system a couple days ago and also suffered this problem
whne i try to boot the floppies. what i found i had done was i had
plugged the terminated end of the 50pin cable into the scsi controler
instead of the cdrom. whne i reversed it, the system booted fine
everytime.

sine you have used the system successfully before this may be a
different problem, but i found for me that the cable was incorrectly
plugged into the controller/cdrom.

Ciao.
Ashley.
