This is the equivalent of a combination of a number of bits of work done by Marko, Kip, ALC, jhb, and many others.. we aren't too far behind here.. Marko has virtual images with cpus assigned to them (or, at least he has work in that direction, and Kip has work on NICs with multiple receive/xmit rings etc. ALC has work on virtualised interfaces with hardware support. Jhb and others are doing multiple MSI interrupts and network polling...
