I'm having so many troubles that i have almost gave up to install FreeBSD on this notebook (amd64 3500+, chipset ATI Xpress200). I tried all the releases, from 5.3 to 6.0-BETA4 but no one works. I read something here that could be interesting: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=94652 I tried to look for this functions in the code, but it looks like in the new releases they don't exist. So...now i can boot with the kernel installed with this personalized boot-cd (http://blackk.union.edu/~black/freebsd/5_3_30Dec2004-amd64-miniinst.iso) but i can't update my kernel with a newer one. What can I do? Thank you Pier --------------enig6949FBFCF16651EA77EDC791 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDKl7x0EvuLV/O0yoRAnhSAKDv1it/9rdEK62/rxWQlCSF/eGw3gCfZMv1 YttTfV6EAw+hdr5Ejd5lEcA= =u1df -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig6949FBFCF16651EA77EDC791--
