You've obviously never tried to develop an extensive browser-based user interface using both. Netscape is bigger, and slower, but it also crashes less and provides a much better JavaScript implementation. I ran across two seemingly valid JavaScript combinations that both ran on NS4, and crashed the browser in IE4 on NT4. Once even brought down NT. In general, if you push them very hard at all, ALL BROWSERS SUCK. They just do it in different directions. ;^) (Aren't you glad I changed the subject?
