Yes, it can boot Windows CDs and the restore CD.

Cannot do this.

Yes, this is where I see the conflicts.

OK, it looks like it saw the CD-ROM...

I tried Standard. In fact I re-imaged the kern disk. Booted the kernal, 
hit return at the first screen and what I have written next happens.

This information is displayed the floppy light is lit but I do not hear 
it or the CD being accessed and then nothing else happens?
