How did the build start when the dependency is missing? ext/msdk suggests you may have out of sync ports tree as the port is supposed to build from sys/msdk instead. $ fgrep msdk /usr/ports/multimedia/gstreamer1-plugins/Makefile.common msdk \ # msdk gst_msdk_LIB_DEPENDS= libgudev-1.0.so:devel/libgudev \ gst_msdk_GST_PLUGIN_DIR= sys/msdk
