The second FreeBSD box have user ppp, ipfw and nat and everything work just perfect - dial, connect to the ISP, and ... I have problem with the first. I can hear the dial tone, but the modem (ext. 33.600 Rockwell) respond 'NO DIALTONE' and ppp can't connect. How to skip the dial tone waiting? I think that this can be done with some kind of AT command in the 'set dial' line in ppp.conf, but I'm not sure and don't have TF Manual for this modem. Any help will be welcome...
