Thanks to all responders, this -current machine doesn't complain about
the screensaver on boot.
In rc.i386 line 103:
change: saver_init -q /lkm/${saver}_saver_mod.o
to: ${saver}_saver_mod -q /lkm/${saver}_saver_mod.o
