Not a glitch. Mine(elf -j8, dual PPros) finished succesfully without softupdates (with async,notime, 1:23). It crashes every single time with softupdates for last a few weeks. I also did -j8/softupdates on K6 machine. I got the same panic with others. By the way, should elf-ed gdb -k work with aout kernel?
