Sorry for mailing you suddenly.
I have just installed R2.2.7 on my IBM aptiva
(to introduce FreeBSD on a leture).
------------Problem 1:----------
I installed Canna by
pkg_add ja-Canna-3.2.2.tgz
But I can not setup canna(KANJI) from mule.
When I reboot, the following message appeared.

CannaCan't open /var/run/canna
/usr/local/sbin/cannaserver can't crate lock file
/var/run/canna/Canna.pid

-------------Problem2-------------------------
When type
dvi2ps tt.dvi > tt.ps

ld.so.failed: Can't find shared library "libttf.so.2.0"
--------------------
appeared and stopped.
(Command [xdvi] works well.
when install dvi2ps, error message
/var/db/pg/freetype-1.1
appeared)

IBM aptiva E4A
CPU 266Hz
IDE disk
IBM ATI Mach64 3D Rage II+

I have tried several times.
( When I installed R2.2.1, R2.2.2 and R2.2.5,
there are no such problems.)
I have searched several related webpage,
but I can not read newsgroup [fj.or...freebsd]
from our LAN since September.
