I have 6.0 (strongly suggest you upgrade) and don't have that scanner. You should be able to add a line to the Canon section of usbdevs: product CANON LIDE60 0x221c CanoScan LiDE60 and then add this line to the Canon section of uscanner.c: {{ USB_VENDOR_CANON, USB_PRODUCT_CANON_LIDE60 }, 0 }, Then rebuild (make, make install).
