That is fine but that can use a lot of bandwidth.

The source is the CD. I cannot do a thing with the kernel until I get it
installed.

I cannot install so I cannot type "dmesg."

The X version is the one that comes with the 4.2 install from the Power Pak.
The install offers no version choices.
