https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D211255 --- Comment #15 from Joe Barbish <qjail1@a1poweruser.com> --- Ignore that portlint warning about size of pkg-descr file just like it has = been ignored for the last 16 years. About the first line of pkg-descr, warning against use on systems < 10.0.=20 There is a qjail2 port just for 9.3 and older systems. 9.3 goes EOL in Dece= mber this year, at which time I will have qjail2 removed. Besides that version is frozen in time having none of the updates added to the qjail port. I believe that 10.0 & 10.1 have already reached EOL but since there are many users out there still on these versions I plan to leave the internal script checks for only 10.x and newer. When it comes to the first line of the pkg-descr where it says this version supports 10.x and newer, it will stay in the pkg-descr file. People who look online at the ports system read the long description and read that first li= ne. Not likely to drill down to the port makefile to see the OSVERSION knob. I have no problem with you putting the OSVERSION knob in the 4.9 makefile as long as you also make the same change to the 5.0 port's makefile. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
