AFAIK - That message is pretty _normal_... I get it when I quit X here, I'd guess it's because the X-Term window is having 'the rug pulled from under it's feet'... 1 -Would it be a conflict between xterm and the Xserver? Don't think so... :-) 2 - If I got Xfree86 directly from www.xfree86.org could be the problem solved? Almost certainly not...
