If this ProSignia is the same one I have, the onboard NetFlex is
actually a Lance chipset:

lnc0 at 0x8800-0x8817 irq 14 drq 0 on eisa slot 8
lnc0: PCnet-32 VL-Bus address 00:80:5f:08:65:ba

And this is probably the unsupported SCSI controller:

eisa0:8 <CPQ4410=0xe114410> unknown device

And the Adaptec 2740 I've put in here has been working just fine:

ahc0: <Adaptec 274X SCSI host adapter> at 0x5c00-0x5cff irq 11 on eisa0 slot 5
ahc0: aic7770 >= Rev E, Single Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 4/255 SCBs
