For the machine serving as the NIS server, should it be authenticating logins with the local passwd file, or should i remove the accounts from passwd and use NIS to authenticate them as if it were a NIS client? also, is there a proper way to add uses to the NIS server? Or do I have to run ypinit everytime I add a user to the system? thanks -- airyk@sdf.lonestar.org SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
