	vi (nvi) is documented to have a -c flag that allows execution of commands
	upon startup.

	nvi -c "r /etc/motd"
	Does not read in /etc/motd.

>How-To-Repeat:

	run:
	nvi -c "r /etc/motd"
	and you'll see it does nothing.

	no fix yet. I have played with vim, and vim appears to work okay for this option
	however I'm having annoying terminal/control character escaping issues with vim.
