A clearly researched, intelligible question (an all else has failed post), I certainly will. Ask a smart question and you shall receive a smart answer. You have a hell of alot of nerve to even think the people of this list are below par with their sentiments! This list is an excellent resource and the questions being answered are top notch. The good people of this list as busting their butts with up to several hundred posts per weeks and they've gotta take grief over somebody who will never understand the os let alone getting user PPP to function. If you can not understand what the man pages tell you then you sure as as hell are not gonna get their solutions to YOUR problem(s). Buy Greg Lehey's excellent book "The Complete FreeBSD", scour the man pages, read the source documentation and very possible reference at www.freebsd.org. If you can't find the answer to your question while exhausting the aforementioned resources, I will know this and offer a solution upon reading your post. Please don't show up to class if you have not done your homework! You are wasting time and resources of very busy people who are here on a voluntary basis. Three cheers for the excellent work done by the gang at bsd-questions!
