 I can think of two ways of changing this.

/stand/sysinstall

 Or just edit your /etc/rc.conf file.

 You'll want to reboot afterwards so you drop your static ip number and
DHCP takes over. 

 None of this has anything to do with KDE. Open up a terminal session and
get to it! ;-)
