https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D276510 Bug ID: 276510 Summary: net/openmpi: upgrade to v5.0.1 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: thierry@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 247829 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D247829&action= =3Dedit Upgrade OpenMPI to v5.0.1 and don't look for libmpi_cxx.so in dependencies Release notes available at <https://www-lb.open-mpi.org/software/ompi/major-changes.php>. Notes: - The MPI C++ bindings were deprecated in the MPI-2.2 standard in 2009, and removed from the MPI-3.0 standard in 2012. The MPI C++ bindings were then removed from Open MPI v5.0.0 in 2022; - ofi (libfabric) was explicitly disabled in this port - I don=E2=80=99t kn= ow why but kept it this way; - ROMIO has been disabled (See <https://github.com/open-mpi/ompi/issues/971= 5>). I tested it on a representative sample, and it seems OK: if this is not the case, we shall have to make a repocopy and keep OpenMPI-4 for some time. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
