When I try to make /usr/src/contrib, i get an error 'cannot find Build file'. ... (which is correct because there is no build file) And I have tried every other sendmail Make file in the /usr directory tree as well, some of them install libraries, some install includes etc... I would think that there is a way to re-compile the original sendmail application that is on the server so that one could configure it to their specifications but...
