I have an application that uses alarm() to generate SIGALARM every second. I am seeing that the signal handler is sometimes late by as much as 500ms when the system is under load. What kind of performance should I expect to see from alarm(). Is there a better way to do this? TIA, Neil --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
