I've read the docs for Exim and for Cyrus IMAPd, various HOWTOs and such, but cannot seem to get exim to deliver locally over LMTP to Cyrus IMAPd. Does anyone out there have this sort of thing working OK, and wouldn't mind pointing me to some good documentation or sharing the salient parts of their config with me? I have Exim version 4.02, and the Cyrus-imap port (v 2.0.16). Exim works - it will accept mail and deliver it locally to the default location. The IMAP server seems to be running, as I can log in using cyradm and do what cyradm allows you to do. I just can't figure out what rules to add to Exim's config to make it pass any local mail to /usr/local/cyrus/bin/deliver. I have even tried Philip Hazel's sample rules for Cyrus interaction, but to no avail. What I am struggling most to find out is how Exim decides what router to use - the rules I have tried LOOK like they should work, but all I see from Exim is that messages are being delivered with the localuser router and the local_delivery transport. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I have been working on this now for what feels like weeks, and I need some sleep ;-) TIA, Dan -- Daniel Bye PGP Key: ftp://ftp.slightlystrange.org/pgpkey/dan.asc PGP Key fingerprint: 3D73 AF47 D448 C5CA 88B4 0DCF 849C 1C33 3C48 2CDC _ ASCII ribbon campaign ( ) - against HTML, vCards and X - proprietary attachments in e-mail / \ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
