I went to check the newsgroup archive and finally found a fast and simple solution : a little program called bootpart (freeware), available at http://www.winimage.com. You launch it, it scans your disks and then from the command prompt you enter the appropriate parameters and it modifies the boot.ini for you... Voila ...
