Reply-To: "Peter Gatsoulis" Sender: owner-freebsd-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org anyone provide a real quick refresher? just finished installing 4.7 onto a couple of laptops i have 2 ol fashioned PCMCIA network cards, a 3COM 3c589E and a Netgear FA410 i believe the 3COM went by ep0 and the netgear went by ed0 in older versions of FBSD i'd edit pccard.conf to put in the correct settings for the right card and then include an entry in rc.conf (forgot the entry & syntax) to start up PCMCIA is this still right ? or has it been more automated?
