:My name is Brandon Salle I have been interested in free BSD for a long time :my problem is that I dont have enough money to get the CD ROM of Free BSD :and I am Not on a network and if I were to do it FTP I still couldn't do it because :my modem is a windows modem so the only option that I can think of is this thing called :an MS-DOS partition the only problem is when I install the boot disk will it wipe out all my :MS Windows stuff in the process I dont want to loose Windows NT 4.0 and 95 please contact :me ASAP HURRY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, installing FreeBSD will completely kill your hard drive. This has happened many times. Once this happens, your hard drive is rendered useless. In order to fix it, you must go to: http://www.freebsd.org/ and read the manuals and the install guide.
