I mean, "fdisk -f" wants a different format than that which "fdisk" or "fdisk -s" output. would "disklabel -r ad0s1c > lblfile" produce a file suitable for recreating the BSD partitions on /dev/ad0s1 ? "disklabel -RB ads1 lblfile"?
