I have a run a way process....

USER       PID %CPU %MEM   VSZ  RSS  TT  STAT STARTED       TIME COMMAND
root         2 14.6  0.1     0   12  ??  DL    2:50AM   30:03.33 (pagedaemon)

I've tried 'kill 2' and 'kill -9 2'

its still running....  what should I do and what is this??
