Personally, I put WindowMaker, The Gimp, Eterm (love those backgrounds), Midnight Commander (great for shuffling files), Netscape,and AbiWord in straight away. I'm looking at building a virtual domain in the next few weeks, so I'm currently trying out everything in the 'www' section of the Ports directory.
