I guess it's up to you at this point.  We have pushed all of the icon
directory removals out of the GNOME ports and into hicolor-icon-theme.
The one advantage of having each port clean up after itself is you get
less directories leftover if you decide to remove KDE altogether.

But the .keep_me idea is a good one since it's easier to spot which
package owns the given directories.
