Oh, one thing to always check is to make sure you're using loaded
firmware for isp rather than resident random BIOS firmware.
Make sure you have
ispfw_load="YES"
in your /boot/loader.conf
You can also, if you just have 2300's, do
isp_2300_load="YES"
instead.
