The msdosfs code is undergoing a total rewrite. Attached to it will be a vfatfs that will handle win95's VFAT. The fs code is being coded in such a way that adding fat32 isn't supposed to be a big problem. This is from an earlier msg today in -current I believe. Realize that fat32 isn't supposed to be out until fall, and I'd be that freeBSD's implementation will tail that by some time. We are targeting a fall release of the new fs code. I don't speak for the programmers on that project though, and as always promising dates is a bad thing in computing.
