I have an HP Vectra with a strange bios, and for some reason
I can't boot off of the hard drive in freebsd, I need to
do odd things from the boot prompt of a boot floppy.
I once tried installing linux in another partition
just so I could boot off of freebsd with lilo, but
I couldn't get linux to recognize the freebsd partitions
even though I compiled in UFS support on the boot floppies (linux).

so, anyway what I would like to do is create a floppy disk
that will boot from a freebsd kernel sitting on the first
slice of the master IDE hard drive, nothing complicated,
I read how to create a floppy in /etc/disktab and read
the man pages on boot and ran disklabel but I must be
doing something wrong.
