The goals of the project are as follows: - Improve performance by streamlining transmit and receive functions to targetted 100mb/s performance. - Clean up problem areas and eliminate crash points. - remodularize to better support mixed board environments - streamline the interface for new high speed board Most of the above has already been accomplished and we are now looking for real-world beta users. All 3 or our boards have been tested with HDLC, PPP and frame relay and should be suitable for production testing. The beta version is currently only available for Freebsd v2.2.5. Anyone who has been having problems should consider trying this release. The entire release is at http://ftp.etinc.com/pub/freebsd225.v30beta.tgz however only et5025v30.o and hdlccfg should be required to upgrade from 2.56i. Anyone using the beta release should please let me know. Dennis Baasch To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
