Message-ID: <20010729162154.A33636@home.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5i Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I recently upgraded to the XFree86-4.1.0_4 port (was running XFree86 4.0.3). I'm logging in using xdm. When I exit my window manager, XFree86 core dumps. Here is what I see in my logs: /kernel: pid 64412 (XFree86), uid 0: exited on signal 6 Only happens when I exit my window manager. It doesn't matter which window manager I use - always get the core dump. xdm has no problem starting another X server. Anyone know why this is happening?
