It's set up to do IP aliasing for the 6 local machines on my (non-Internet) network and has been running in auto mode. I've been seeking out bugs in my configuration, and have swatted all but this one: The PPP seems to get stuck in LCP Stopping mode. It will disconnect from my ISP, but not reset itself to wait for new outgoing packets. I haven't been able, via pppctl, to make it continue. Issuing a "close" command puts it into "Closing" state, rather than "Stopping", but it doesn't ever move past that either. As far as I can tell, ppp must be closed and restarted to correct the problem. ppp is set to log: Command Phase Chat Connect Carrier Link IPCP LCP CCP A section of logfile is included. Note that the last line of log represents when I manually restarted PPP. TIA for any help!
