I do know that trying to disable hostap mode once it is enabled seems to get the card in a totally unstable state. As an aside, I have a Netgear PCMCIA wi0 that gets locked up after a few hours of use on a RELENG_4_8 box. A 'pccardc power 0 0; sleep 30; pccardc power 0 1' seems to fix that. -- Crist J.
